All women age 18 and older are members of Altar Society. Ladies enjoy fun, fellowship and sharing their faith each month. Altar Society provides many services for the parish throughout the year including hosting receptions, cleaning the church, providing food for funeral dinners, and helping with the Ice Cream Social. Altar Society meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from September to May.
The purpose of this ministry is to pray for, comfort and care for loved ones grieving over the death of a St. James parishioner. Any adult parishioner is welcome to become part of this ministry of care.

Assists the Pastor by monitoring the monthly financial health of the parish and preparing the yearly budgets and financial reports for the church and school.
Dinner is provided to family and friends of the deceased members of St. James Parish. Altar Society women are asked to donate food and to help serve funeral dinners.
Come and enjoy the fellowship of others age 55 and older. Members meet to enjoy luncheons, speakers and friendship. Harvest House programs and activities provide the opportunity for senior Catholics to bond as a community to grow in their faith and to devote time, talent, service and resources each month to their parish community.

An organization whose goal is to provide all Catholic girls, from K thru 4th grade and 5th thru 6th grade, an opportunity after school, to learn and practice the virtues of our faith.

What mom does not need support? Moms Prayer & Share uses the Scriptures, the Saints, Spiritual readings and of course the Blessed Mother to make sense of this wonderful vocation of motherhood. The group meets every 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month during the school year. Children are always welcome.
The Sewing Circle makes infant baptismal garments for St. James families. We meet as need after the 8:00 am Mass. Please come join us.

New parishioners are welcomed and made to feel an important part of our parish, through quarterly “meet & greets.” In addition, new parishioners are presented with a “welcome” tote full of useful parish information

All women of the parish are invited to deepen their relationship with God through scripture and personal stories. We come together from all walks of life, from growing up Catholic to just starting a Catholic relationship with God, to support each other on our Journey in Faith. The group meets twice a month at 7:00 pm.
This group is designed for our young adult parishioners – high school seniors through twenty-somethings, to offer them a Christian environment in which to gather, fellowship and participate in activities so they will be able to live out a Christ-like life on both a spiritual and social level.
